Mumbai: With the Bigg Boss 19 finale approaching, the competition is heating up. In a surprising turn of events, the latest episode saw contestant Mridul Tiwari eliminated in a shocking mid-week eviction after receiving the fewest votes from the live audience.
The decision left fans stunned, with many expressing disappointment on social media. While some praised Mridul for being “too genuine” for the game, others felt his journey ended prematurely.
The eviction occurred during a live voting round conducted as part of a captaincy task. Audience members entered the house and cast secret ballots after contestants campaigned for themselves. Gaurav Khanna and Shehbaz Badesha emerged with the highest votes and are now in the race for the next captaincy, while Mridul’s low vote count resulted in his departure.
Following his exit, emotional tributes poured in online. Fans called him “a gem of a person,” insisting “NO MRIDUL NO BIGG BOSS,” and described his eviction as “heartbreaking and unfair.”
The contestants still competing for the trophy include Gaurav Khanna, Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, Farrhana Bhatt, and Pranit More.
The Bigg Boss 19 finale is slated for December. The show streams on JioHotstar at 9 PM and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 PM.
