Mumbai: The first “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode of Bigg Boss 19 saw Salman Khan reviewing the contestants’ journey so far. While some housemates were lauded for their performance, others were urged to reflect and make improvements in their game.
Salman praised Mridul Tiwari, Kunickaa Sadanand, Tanya Mittal, and Natalia Janoszek for their efforts, while Nehal Chudasama, Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, and Pranit More were advised to step up.
Pranit, however, found himself in the spotlight during the episode. Salman pointed out that the stand-up comedian seemed overly dependent on Tanya Mittal, saying, “Tanya is a one-man army for you… Have you noticed that your entire game revolves around her? No one else in the house takes you seriously the way she does. You only feel comfortable speaking up around Tanya. You never joke with Zeishan, Gaurav, or Amaal—probably because you feel intimidated. Tanya sees you as a friend, so she doesn’t take offense.”
The host also reminded Pranit of the jokes he had made at Salman’s expense before joining the show. Asking him directly, Salman said, “I’ve seen the jokes you cracked about me outside. What all have you said?”
Pranit responded, “Let bygones be.”
Salman gave a stern reminder: “I’m letting it be, but understand—it’s easy to mock someone when they’re not around. Think about what you’ve said about me or others. If roles were reversed, how would you feel? Many things you said about me were wrong, but you used my name in your punchlines because it was your job.”
He also shared advice on comedy and boundaries: “If using my name helps you earn, I’m genuinely happy for you. Comedians like Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda are brilliant, yet they know their limits. Saying something about me may boost your profile, but inside this house, you need to compete fairly. Don’t go below the belt—others may respond, and they might not be as forgiving as I am.”
Bigg Boss 19 airs on Colors and JioCinema.
