Rajouri: A motorcyclist was killed in a tragic road accident on the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch National Highway near Dandesar in the Nowshera subdivision.
According to official sources, a truck (registration number JK11E-9712) collided head-on with a motorcycle (JK11D-8587), resulting in critical injuries to the rider, identified as Angrez Singh, son of Tilak Raj, a resident of Dandani Nowshera.
Singh was rushed to the Sub-District Hospital Nowshera for initial treatment but succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to GMC Jammu for advanced medical care.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
