Srinagar, Nov 19: The body of Bilal Ahmad Sangoo, who lost his life in the recent blast in Delhi, was brought back to his native place in Kashmir today. The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom over the Valley as family, friends, and neighbors gathered to pay their last respects.
Bilal Ahmad Sangoo, a resident of Srinagar, was among the victims who succumbed to injuries sustained in the explosion. His mortal remains were transported to Kashmir under official arrangements and handed over to his family for the final rites.
Emotional scenes were witnessed as hundreds of people joined the funeral procession, expressing solidarity with the bereaved family. Community members recalled Sangoo as a hardworking and compassionate individual whose untimely death has left a deep void.
Local leaders and civil society representatives condemned the blast, describing it as a senseless act of violence that claimed innocent lives. They reiterated the need for collective efforts to ensure peace and security, both in the Valley and across the country.
