NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was reportedly attacked during a ‘Jan Sunwai’ programme at her official residence in Civil Lines on Thursday morning, according to the BJP.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva “strongly” condemned the incident during the chief minister’s weekly ‘Jan Sunwai’, the party said in a statement.
Party sources stated that Gupta was allegedly assaulted by a man in his mid-30s. The individual reportedly handed the CM some papers during the public hearing before launching the attack.
