Bobby Deol and Esha Deol pen heartfelt birthday wishes for Sunny Deol

Mumbai: Actor Sunny Deol celebrated his birthday today, receiving a flood of love and warm wishes from fans and family alike. Among the most heartwarming messages came from his brother, Bobby Deol, who shared a cheerful selfie with the birthday boy on Instagram, writing, “Love you Bhaiya. Happy Birthday.”

Sunny’s step-sister, actor Esha Deol, also took to Instagram to wish him, reposting his birthday video on her story with the message, “Happy birthday bhaiya.”

Earlier, Sunny offered fans a glimpse into his midnight birthday celebrations. In a video shared online, the actor was seen standing outdoors amidst twinkling lights, watching a spectacular fireworks display as friends and family shouted, “Happy Birthday!” He simply captioned the post, “Happy Birthday to ME.”

The comment section quickly filled with love from fans and industry friends. Bobby Deol responded with cake and heart emojis, while Preity Zinta wrote, “Happy Birthday to you. Loads of love, happiness n success today n always.” Shilpa Shetty added, “Happppyyyy Birthday Sunny. Wishing you great health, success and happiness,” and Mona Singh chimed in with “Happpy bday.”

Coinciding with his birthday, Sunny surprised fans with a special announcement — the first look of his upcoming film, ‘Gabru’, co-starring Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani.

Describing the project as a “story of courage, conscience, and compassion,” Sunny wrote, “Power isn’t what you show, it’s what you do! Thank you everyone for your love and blessings. Here’s something for you all who have been waiting. #Gabru — in cinemas 13th March 2026. From my heart… to the world!”

Presented by Om Chhangani and Echelon, and written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar, ‘Gabru’ features music by Mithoon, Satinder Sartaaj, and Anurag Saikya, with lyrics penned by Sayeed Quadri.

The film is slated for release on March 13, 2026, while Sunny is also preparing for his much-anticipated next project, ‘Border 2.’
