Mumbai: Bollywood actor Bobby Deol has joined Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in YRF’s upcoming spy thriller, Alpha.
The announcement was revealed through the post-credits scene of Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.’s War 2. The clip gives audiences their first glimpse of Bobby Deol’s character in Alpha. Social media is abuzz with reactions from fans who watched War 2 in theaters on Thursday, sharing the scene where Bobby’s character stamps the logo of a covert agency onto a young girl’s hand.
When the girl asks what it signifies, he explains the meaning behind “Alpha.”
Sharvari, starring in YRF’s first female-led spy film, expressed her excitement on social media: “Feeling toooo tooo tooooo overwhelmed and proud to be a part of this incredible cinematic universe! YRF Spy Universe is jussssst AAAAAHHHHH!!!!” She also praised Bobby Deol’s cameo, writing: “Whoooaaaa @iambobbydeol sirrrr!!! Reports suggest that Bobby will play a villain in Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, which is slated for release on December 25.
