Hyderabad: The BRS on Tuesday suspended MLC K Kavitha from the party over alleged anti-party activities.
BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is also Kavitha’s father, approved the immediate suspension, according to a statement issued by party General Secretary T. Ravinder Rao and Soma Bharat Kumar, the General Secretary in charge of disciplinary affairs.
The statement noted that Kavitha’s recent actions and anti-party conduct were causing harm to the BRS, prompting the leadership to take strict action.
