Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was injured on Thursday in an accidental firing incident at the force’s artillery battalion in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
The injured jawan has been identified as Sandeep Kumar. He sustained a wound on his palm in the Nowgam area and was immediately shifted to a hospital in Baramulla. His condition is reported to be stable, the officials added.
