JAMMU: To mark celebrations on the festival of Eid-ul-Adha, the BSF troops and Pakistan Rangers on Thursday exchanged sweets on the occasion at various Border Outposts under Jammu Frontier in a very cordial atmosphere.
The BSF spokesperson said that the exchange of sweets was done all along the BoPs in Samba, Kathua, R S Pura and Akhnoor borders.
BSF Jammu offered sweets to Rangers and Rangers also reciprocated the BSF gesture by offering sweets to them.
“BSF has always been on the forefront in creating a peaceful and congenial atmosphere on Border while dominating the border effectively,” he added.
He said that such gestures help build a peaceful atmosphere and cordial relationships on border between both border guarding forces.
