JAMMU: A Border Security Force (BSF) constable stationed along the Line of Control in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, was injured on Tuesday when his firearm discharged accidentally, officials reported.
The mishap took place in the forward area of Balnoi while the constable was cleaning his weapon.
He was promptly taken to the military hospital in Rajouri for specialized treatment, and officials confirmed that his condition is stable.
