SAMBA: A camp for verification and collection of account numbers of rightful claimants of village Katli for disbursement of compensation in respect of land acquired for Delhi Amritsar Katra expressway was organised today here in Panchayat Ghar Diani.
The camp was organised to disburse compensation in an effective manner by resolving disputes/grievances of locals on the spot.
In addition to it, other grievances of public importance were also heard and redressed on spot. A total amount of approximately Rs. 10 crore was disbursed on the spot.
The camp was organised by District Administration and Deputy Commissioner Samba Abhishek Sharma, while Assistant Commissioner Revenue Samba Dr Kusum Chib, Tehsildar Samba Mohit Gupta, Sarpanch *Katli or Diani* and other revenue field staff was present during the camp.
