The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) organised an interaction session on cybersecurity for a group of international journalists in New Delhi. The programme aimed to familiarise visiting media professionals with India’s cybersecurity framework, response mechanisms and ongoing efforts to strengthen digital resilience.
During the session, CERT-In officials briefed the journalists on emerging cyber threats, incident reporting procedures and the agency’s role in coordinating responses to cyber incidents across government and critical sectors. Demonstrations on cyber hygiene, safe digital practices and common vulnerabilities were also part of the engagement.
The visiting journalists interacted with cybersecurity experts, seeking insights into India’s approach to safeguarding digital infrastructure, promoting awareness and enhancing cooperation with global partners.
The session was organised as part of India’s broader outreach to promote understanding of its digital security ecosystem and highlight the importance of international collaboration in addressing cyber challenges.
