JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday chaired the 90th meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) at the Civil Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dheeraj Gupta, Commissioner Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Rakesh Minhas, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Devansh Yadav, Vice Chairman JDA Rupesh Kumar, and other senior officials.
The Board deliberated on several key agenda items presented for approval. Each issue was discussed in detail, with the Chief Minister underscoring the importance of prudent financial management and the timely execution of projects aimed at strengthening urban infrastructure and public amenities in Jammu.
The meeting also held extensive discussions on the revised estimates for the financial year 2024–25 and the budget estimates for 2025–26, focusing on optimal resource utilization to support planned urban growth and sustainable development.
