Srinagar: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Thursday carried out coordinated raids at 13 locations across the Kashmir valley as part of the ongoing probe into the Srinagar Jaish-e-Muhammad conspiracy and the recent Delhi bomb blast case, officials said.
According to official sources, the searches are based on intelligence inputs gathered by the J&K CID during a wider investigation into a network suspected of aiding the Red Fort blast earlier this week.
Multiple CIK teams, supported by local police and other security agencies, are conducting the raids at premises of individuals believed to have links with the proscribed Jaish-e-Muhammad outfit.
Sources added that the operation is part of heightened efforts to dismantle terror modules operating between Kashmir and other regions of the country.
