BARAMULLA: A one-day cluster-level Debate and Quiz Competition on the theme “STEM, AI, Robotics, and the Future” was organized today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Town Baramulla in collaboration with the J&K Science Technology and Innovation Council. The event aimed to promote scientific temperament, critical thinking, and awareness among students about emerging technologies and their role in shaping the future.
ZEO Baramulla, Abdul Salam, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program was attended by heads of institutions and students from various schools across the district.
During the debate, students presented insightful speeches highlighting opportunities and challenges in STEM, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. In the quiz competition, the team from High School Khadniyar emerged victorious after a highly engaging contest, while GHSS Town Baramulla secured the first position in the debate.
All participants and winners were honored with awards and certificates recognizing their talent and efforts. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Principal Naseer Ahmed Tahir, who lauded the contributions of students, staff, and the Council in making the program a success.
