SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met with multiple delegations and public representatives at the Raabita Outreach Office today to deliberate on a range of public issues, including infrastructure development, trade concerns, higher education, and employment opportunities for technocrats.
The day began with a meeting involving several Members of the Legislative Assembly—Farooq Ahmad Shah (Gulmarg), Sajjad Shafi (Uri), Irshad Rasool Kar (Sopore), Shafi Ahmad Wani (Beerwah), and Pawan Gupta (Udhampur West)—who highlighted key constituency-specific matters that require urgent government attention.
A delegation from the Traders Federation of Shopian raised issues facing the local business community, seeking government support to address logistical bottlenecks and enhance market access for local enterprises.





Representatives from the School of Architecture, Kashmir, also met the Chief Minister to express concern over the lack of job opportunities for architects in the region. They urged the government to create new positions and incorporate architectural expertise in urban development planning.
Additionally, a deputation of transporters and shopkeepers from the Old Batamaloo General Bus Stand called for the revival of commercial activity in the area and restoration of essential civic facilities.
The Chief Minister also held discussions with senior political leader and former Minister Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo, who briefed him on developmental issues in the Chenab Valley.
Numerous individuals also met with the Chief Minister to voice both personal and public grievances.
Omar Abdullah assured all delegations that their concerns would be reviewed and addressed by the relevant departments.
