CM Omar Abdullah interacts with public delegations at Raabita Office, assures redressal of genuine concerns

SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today continued his public outreach programme, meeting several delegations and individuals at the Raabita Public Outreach Office to listen to grievances and discuss developmental issues.

A delegation led by the Vice President of the Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) submitted key suggestions on education reforms and highlighted concerns of the teaching community. Another deputation, headed by the Chairman of Civil Society Baramulla, raised important matters related to the district’s welfare and development.

The Chief Minister also met a group of SRO-43 candidates of JKPCC, who sought resolution of their pending compassionate appointment cases. Separately, the President of the Jammu & Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee, along with his team, discussed issues related to employee welfare, service conditions, and broader workforce concerns. They thanked the Chief Minister for the pro-employee measures taken by his government.

Omar Abdullah gave a patient hearing to all delegations and assured them that their genuine demands would be examined and addressed by the concerned authorities. He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to responsive governance and to fulfilling the aspirations of people across sectors.

Meanwhile, Deepak Bali, Advisor to the Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board, also called on the Chief Minister and discussed avenues for tourism cooperation between the two governments.
