SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today met scores of delegations and individuals at the Raabita Public Outreach Office in Srinagar to hear issues of public concern.
A delegation of Kashmiri folk artists and noted singers, including Ustaad Abdul Rashid Hafiz, Waheed Jeelani, Gulzar Ganie and Muneer Mir, apprised the Chief Minister of the challenges faced by the artistic community over the years and sought government support for their redressal.
Several other public delegations also raised developmental concerns of their respective areas, while many individuals highlighted both personal and community-related issues. The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and assured that all matters would be taken up with the concerned departments for resolution.



Earlier, Omar Abdullah also held a brief interaction with MLA Kulgam, M.Y. Tarigami, regarding developmental works in Kulgam constituency.
