Punjab Chief Minister has extended a cordial invitation to the people of the state to participate in the series of events organised to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The celebrations aim to honour the supreme sacrifice of the ninth Sikh Guru, who laid down his life to uphold religious freedom and protect the oppressed.

The CM urged citizens to join the events with devotion and reverence, emphasizing the importance of remembering the values of courage, selflessness, and righteousness that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji exemplified. He highlighted that such observances strengthen the spirit of unity and social harmony in the state.

Various religious and cultural programmes, including prayer sessions, processions, and community service initiatives, are planned across Punjab to mark the occasion. The Chief Minister encouraged people from all communities to participate and pay tribute to the Guru’s legacy.

The state administration has ensured arrangements for smooth conduct of the events while maintaining security, public order, and adherence to health guidelines.
