Doda: A part of ongoing outreach and helping local population, the Indian Army located at Bhaderwah has taken an initiative to conduct a Medical and Veterinary Camp at Thanalla, Doda. The camp was inaugurated by Indian Army, who assured the locals of unconditional and everlasting support of Indian Army to the local residents. A medical team of Indian Army for providing the much needed medical cover to the gents, ladies, children and elderly people during the camp.
A large number of patients turned up for the medical check-up from the nearby villages. This medical camp was organised by making necessary arrangements including various types of medicines, medical equipment and facilities for examination of patients. Wide publicity was given to ensure that maximum people avail this opportunity to attend the camp. During the camp a total of 276 Patients various animals were treated including Gujjar & Bakkarwal community. The local population were grateful to the Indian Army for their concentrated efforts and assistance in providing medical aid at their door step. The Indian Army also gave information about Health, Nutrition and Child Care to the parents in order to spread medical awareness amongst the general populace.
