Conduct of an Awareness Lecture on Drug Abuse for Youth at Tota Gali, Poonch

Poonch: Indian Army conducted an awareness lecture on Drug abuse at Tota Gali, Poonch. The main aim of the event was to focus on educating young individuals about the perils and outcomes of drug misuse.

This campaign had the objectives of advocating preventive measures, delivering crucial information and support to those impacted by substance abuse, reducing the stigma linked to addiction and urging young people to reach out for assistance when necessary.

The campaign provided precise insight into various drug types, their effects on the human body, signs of addiction and available resources for treatment and support. The villagers highly appreciated the Indian Army’s efforts to conduct the Awareness Campaign on Drug Abuse and also to create awareness amongst the local youth. They also pledged to extend their whole hearted support for the noble cause.
