Conduct of Civilian Outreach Under Operation Milap Provides Relief to Shelling Affected Border Areas of Poonch

Poonch: Continuing its outreach efforts, the Indian Army extended humanitarian assistance to families residing in border villages of Poonch District, impacted by enemy shelling under Operation Milap.  Recognizing the hardships faced by civilians due to ongoing security operations and harsh terrain, the Indian Army organized relief distribution campaigns to supply essential medicines and ration kits to needy locals.

The aid focused on providing immediate medical support, including first-aid supplies, common medicines, and consultations by Indian Army medical personnel. Alongside this, ration containing staples such as rice, wheat flour, pulses, sugar, salt, and cooking oil were distributed to ensure food security for the affected families.

This initiative underscores the Indian Army’s commitment not only to national security but also to the welfare of civilians in conflict-prone and remote areas. Local villagers expressed gratitude for the timely support, which helped alleviate shortages and fostered a sense of safety and solidarity.
