Akhnoor: The Crossed Swords Division of the Indian Army successfully concluded a 45-day Skill Development Course (Hairstylist & Beautician) under Operation Sadbhavana at Akhnoor Military Station. This initiative aimed to uplift underprivileged sections of society by fostering self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. The program provided participants with hands-on training and mentorship, equipping them with essential skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
To mark the culmination of the course, a grand closing ceremony was organized, where participants were awarded skill certificates in recognition of their achievements. The event was graced by dignitaries from both the Indian Army and civil administration, who commended the initiative for its role in empowering communities. Through such programs, the Indian Army continues to contribute beyond the battlefield, strengthening communities and promoting self-sufficiency across the nation.
