PADDAR (KISHTWAR): Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today visited Chisoti village in Paddar, Kishtwar district, to assess the situation following the recent cloudburst.
He was accompanied by senior officials, including the Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, IGP Jammu, DC Kishtwar, SSP Kishtwar, and other concerned authorities.
During the visit, the Chief Secretary evaluated the damage to homes and infrastructure, and interacted with affected families, local officials, and rescue teams involved in relief and restoration efforts. He held detailed discussions with NDRF, SDRF, local police, and security personnel regarding measures taken so far and also engaged with residents on relief operations, healthcare, and other post-disaster support.



He issued immediate instructions to ensure swift relief, proper rehabilitation of affected families, and early restoration of essential services. He emphasized close coordination among all line departments to provide timely assistance and urged the divisional and district administrations to monitor progress closely and report to him daily.
Reassuring the community, the Chief Secretary affirmed the government’s full commitment to supporting relief and recovery operations, directing authorities to remain vigilant and proactive in addressing the needs of affected residents.
