Jammu : The Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu organised a workshop on “Resume Writing” for undergraduate and post-graduate students.
Dr. Mohan Galgotra, the coordinator of the programme, explained how job seekers in this workshop can learn to make a compelling resume to highlight relevant skills, experiences, and accomplishments that align with the job description. Prof Asit Mantry, Head of the Department after expressing his gratitude to the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, stressed how in today’s competitive job market, a well-crafted resume can make the difference in facing interviews and securing a dream job.
He also emphasised that the university is focussing on providing valuable resources and guidance to job seekers in their career advancement journey. Mr. Viraj Magotra, Placement officer of CUJ as a resource person of the workshop, guided the university students about the essence of resume writing. He stated how an impressive resume highlights professional skills, objectives, and academic excellence that empower individuals to navigate the job market with confidence and achieve their professional goals in the fields.
