Cultural Program under ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ held at GDC Women, Anantnag

ANANTNAG: The Drug De-addiction Cell of the Government Degree College (GDC) for Women, Anantnag in collaboration with District Police Anantnag, organized a cultural program under the theme ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan,’ here.

The event, held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Masood Ahmad Malik, Principal of GDCW Anantnag was attended by distinguished guests, including SP Operations, Furkan; DySP DAR Anantnag, Rouf Ahmad; DySP HQ Anantnag, M Ayoob; I/C SEVRA Gh. Mohammad, Dr. Mudasira from the Drug De-addiction Cell Anantnag, along with faculty members from the college and various other educational institutions.

Prof. Masood Malik also addressed the audience, emphasizing the significance of the event in raising awareness against substance abuse.

Earlier, the program began with the ‘Ekta Diwas’ pledge, administered by Prof. Shamsul Din, Assistant Professor of Psychology, followed by speeches by Ayoob and Dr. Mudasira.

Various activities and performances by students from different schools followed, contributing to the event’s theme of promoting a drug-free society.

Prof. Shamsul Din and Prof. Arif Hussain Wani served as judges.

The first position was secured by students of Oxford school, while second and third positions were awarded to Radiant Public School and Police Public School, respectively.

Finally, awards and certificates were distributed among all participants, recognizing their contributions to the program’s success.
