Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday entrusted Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya (IAS), with the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra, in the interest of administrative efficiency.
As per the official order, Vaishya will assume the CEO’s responsibilities alongside his existing duties. This arrangement is being made during the deputation of the current CEO, Anshul Garg (IAS), to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.
Garg, a 2013-batch IAS officer, is set to be on deputation from July 21, 2025, to August 16, 2025. During this period, Vaishya, a 2015-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, will oversee the operations of the Shrine Board.
