Emphasises Phase II Goals, inspects Dool Facility
KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan took a comprehensive review of operational effectiveness of the 4 Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) established in Phase I within the district.
These centers, set up as key support hubs for local farmers, aim to improve access to resources, streamline operations, and provide essential agricultural services.
The DC underscored the need to accelerate the tendering process for Phase II, which involves the establishment of an additional 25 KKGs across Kishtwar.
The DC highlighted that the swift completion of the tendering process is crucial for improving farmers’ access to quality agricultural inputs and advisory services.
The KKG initiative aligns with broader government efforts to strengthen rural agricultural infrastructure, aiming to boost productivity and support the livelihood of the district’s farming community.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner accompanied by Chief Agriculture Officer Amjed Hussain Malik and other relevant officers, visited the Kissan Khidmat Ghar (KKG) at Dool to review its operations on the spot. He emphasized the importance of encouraging farmers at KKG to register and take advantage of various agricultural schemes.
