DC Kulgam reviews progress recorded under various Agricultural Schemes

Instructs all departments to work towards achieving 100% target fulfillment under all schemes

KULGAM,: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan today convened a meeting to assess the implementation status of various agricultural and developmental schemes in Agriculture & allied sectors in the district.

During the meeting he reviewed progress under HADP, DAKSH Kisan, Kisan Khadmit Ghars (KKGs), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), JK Comprehensive agriculture and allied Implimentation Progect (JKCIP), and Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) etc.

Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO) of Kulgam presented a comprehensive report on the progress of these schemes. It was informed that, 15,322 applications have been approved so far under HADP.

Under DAKSH Kisan scheme, 5,168 farmers out of 8,985 registered Farmers were 100 Percent trained . Additionally, 5,249 farmers were registered on the Kisan Khadmit Ghars (KKG) App, and 72 Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (KSA) sessions were conducted during phase-3.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed all departments to work towards achieving 100% target under all schemes. Banks were specifically urged to expedite the issuance of Smart Cards to all Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holders.

Present in the meeting included the JDP Zahid Sajjad, Assistant Commissioner of Revenue (ACR), Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO), Chief Animal Husbandry (CAH), and other heads of relevant schemes.
