POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal visited village Chandak today to congratulate a local resident Mokham Din for availing the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
Mohkam Din recently installed a solar rooftop system, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy use in the region.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner had a candid interaction with the beneficiary. The beneficiary and his family members expressed gratitude to the government for this vital initiative, which has afforded them the opportunity to generate and consume their own electricity. They noted how this initiative has greatly improved their living conditions and contributed to their financial savings.
