PULWAMA: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom chaired a preliminary meeting today regarding NEET (UG) Examination arrangements at the Administrative Complex Pulwama.
The meeting focused on assessing logistical support, security arrangements and infrastructure readiness to ensure the seamless and fair conduct of the examination across designated centres in the district.
During the session, the representatives from designated NEET centres briefed the chair on their preparations, including infrastructural and logistical arrangements, surveillance measures and security protocols. The Deputy Commissioner directed strict adherence to all prescribed protocols and guidelines to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination process.
The Police Department provided an overview of security arrangements, informing that special Police Nodal Officers will be designated for each centre to oversee security measures. In addition, proper escort services will be deployed to ensure the safe and secure transportation of examination materials. The DC stressed the importance of maintaining strict law and order in and around the examination centres.
Dr. Qayoom further instructed the concerned departments to facilitate seamless transportation, uninterrupted power supply and other essential services on the day of the examination. Emphasizing the need for inter-departmental coordination, the Deputy Commissioner called for a collaborative effort to create a conducive atmosphere for candidates appearing in the NEET examination.
