RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to finalize preparations for the upcoming ‘Sewa Parv-2025’. The fortnight-long celebration, scheduled from September 17 to October 2, will be observed across the Union Territory with a diverse range of community-focused activities.
The DC unveiled a detailed action plan covering key themes: Cleanliness Drives & Environmental Action, Education Initiatives, Outreach to Elderly & Vulnerable Groups, Health & Nutrition Programs, Awareness Workshops, Cultural Events, and Public Engagement Campaigns. He stressed the importance of active community participation to achieve sustainable and visible change.
Plans for the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’, to be held alongside Sewa Parv from September 17 to October 2, were also discussed. This campaign will focus on women’s health, empowerment, and nutrition, in alignment with Poshan Maah initiatives.
Departments presented thematic action plans for effective implementation. The DC directed officials to deliver measurable improvements during the campaign. Degree Colleges were asked to adopt one park each and ensure its upkeep. He also instructed GDC Principals to organize student rallies under campaigns such as Nasha Mukt Bharat, Swachh Bharat Mission, and TB Mukt Bharat.
