SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba, Ayushi Sudan, today visited District Hospital Samba and AIIMS Vijaypur to check on the tourists injured in a road accident that occurred late last night in Samba district.
During the visit, the DC interacted with the injured and their attendants, patiently listening to their concerns. She directed the medical staff to ensure the best possible treatment and extend all necessary support facilities to the victims.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Sangwal village in Vijaypur, where she met the family of Ashok Kumar, who lost his life in the recent cloudburst incident in Kishtwar district.
Expressing heartfelt condolences, the DC conveyed deep sympathy on behalf of the District Administration and assured the bereaved family of all possible assistance as per government norms.
She was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Singh, the concerned Tehsildar, and other senior officials of the district administration.
