UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai, today chaired a meeting to discuss the land acquisition cases for defence purpose.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Umesh Shan, Special Collector Defence, Defence Estate Officer, Tehsildar Udhampur Jai Singh and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the DC stressed the importance of teamwork and a proactive approach to resolving issues in revenue documentation. She highlighted that land acquisition for defence purposes is of national importance and urged all departments to work in coordination to expedite the process.
