New Delhi: Another school in Delhi received a bomb threat via email on Friday morning, prompting an immediate response from authorities.

According to Delhi Fire Services, the threat was reported around 7:00 AM at a school in Dwarka, Sector 7. Delhi Police and Fire Department teams rushed to the location to ensure the safety of students and staff. A detailed search is ongoing to verify the credibility of the threat.

This incident is part of a recent wave of hoax threats targeting schools across the capital. In the past few days, six schools—including Andhra Education Society Senior Secondary School (Prasad Nagar), BGS International Public School (Dwarka, Sector 5), Rao Man Singh Senior Secondary School (Chhawla), Maxfort School (Dwarka, Sector 1), and Indraprastha International School (Dwarka, Sector 10)—have received similar threats.

At BGS International Public School, Principal Poonam Gupta confirmed receiving an email early Friday morning, which included a “threat of bloodshed.” She said, “As a precautionary measure, I immediately called the police. By 6:30 AM, the bomb squad and emergency personnel were on-site. No students were allowed inside the building.”

Earlier this week, over 50 schools in the National Capital Region received similar bomb threat emails. Delhi Police revealed that a group identifying itself as “Terrorisers 111” sent the emails, demanding USD 25,000. In a previous incident on August 18, the same group allegedly demanded USD 5,000 in cryptocurrency.

The emails claimed the group had “breached IT systems,” planted explosives across school premises, and had access to student and staff data. One message read:

“We have planted explosives inside your building and others across the city, including high-yield C4 bombs in classrooms, auditoriums, staff rooms, and buses. Transfer 2000 USD to the provided Ethereum address within 48 hours, or we will detonate the bombs. Evacuate all schools immediately. Any attempt to contact authorities will trigger detonation and release of sensitive data. Payment is your only option.”

Authorities are investigating the threats and taking all necessary precautions to ensure school safety.
