DEO Rajouri chairs Nodal Officers’ meeting to review preparedness for Lok Sabha Elections 2024


RAJOURI: District Election Officer, Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat, today chaired a meeting with district Nodal Officers to review the preparedness for  Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on training of polling staff, functioning of control rooms, welfare of polling parties, complaints redressal through the control room, implementation of MCMC and MCC as per the guidelines of ECI and other related tasks assigned to the District Nodal Officers

The District Election Officer exhorted the election team to perform assigned duties with utmost dedication and sincerity.

He emphasized on the paramount importance of meticulous and flawless preparedness for the smooth conduct of the electoral process. He stressed the need for heightened vigil, transparency, and adherence to ECI guidelines to uphold the sanctity of the democratic process.

During the comprehensive review, the DEO outlined the tasks and duties assigned to the Nodal Officers. He directed the officers to exhibit exemplary commitment and diligence in discharging their duties, recognizing their pivotal role in facilitating free, fair, and peaceful elections.
