The Chief Engineer of PWD (R&B) Zone Pir Panjal updated the Dy CM on current and upcoming projects. The Dy CM directed the completion of all projects within the current financial year, highlighting the Kallar-Potha and Chakli Bagla bridges as key priorities that will significantly benefit local residents upon completion.

Recognizing the role of PMGSY in the socio-economic upliftment of rural areas, he instructed the Chief Engineer to prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) for at least 50 roads to be proposed under PMGSY-4 Phase II. He urged officers to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of all projects under this important scheme.

Choudhary also called on the Chief Engineer to prioritize the completion of pending works, expedite the tendering process, and maintain consistent monitoring of departmental activities.

Finally, the Deputy Chief Minister directed Executive Engineers to accelerate progress on all projects, ensuring timely completion while upholding prescribed quality standards. He emphasized adherence to deadlines so these vital infrastructure developments can be handed over to the public without delay.
