RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma today visited Parisha Rajouri to review its functioning and engage with the students.
During the interaction, the DC encouraged students to stay focused on their studies and assured them of full support from the District Administration in realizing their aspirations. He also assessed the facilities provided to the children and emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive environment for their overall development.
The DC instructed the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) to carry out regular visits to the institution and highlighted the need for consistent counselling and guidance sessions. He noted that such initiatives are crucial for building students’ confidence and helping them pursue their goals effectively.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner celebrated a student’s birthday with the children, spreading joy and motivation. Additionally, financial assistance of ₹10,000 from the District Red Cross fund was provided to a hearing-impaired girl to support her education.
DSWO Rajouri Abdul Raheem, CWC Chairperson Preeti, CWC Member Shahzad Lone, TSWO, Superintendent Parisha Nusrat, and other officials accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
