Deputy Commissioner Reviews Measures to Resolve Road Project Bottlenecks
RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today chaired a key meeting with concerned departments and executing agencies to address issues related to the Beripatan–Jhallas road project, being undertaken by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
The project, vital for enhancing rural connectivity, has encountered pending matters, including the assessment of structures, fruit trees, and non-fruit trees at certain locations. Noting these challenges, the Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to expedite the assessment process and submit reports at the earliest. He underscored that prompt resolution is essential to maintain the project’s momentum, given its strategic and developmental significance.
The meeting was attended by AC Defence Israr Ahmed, OC BRO 58 RCC Ankit Uniyal, DFO Nowshera Shweta Deona, DHO Shafqat Khan, and other concerned officials.
