Uttarakhand Chief Minister S Pushkar Singh Dhami has accused the Congress party of obstructing the developmental initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA government. He said that despite the Centre’s efforts to accelerate infrastructure growth, welfare schemes, and national security measures, the opposition has consistently attempted to derail progress.
Dhami emphasized that the NDA government under PM Modi has prioritized inclusive development, strengthening the economy, and empowering marginalized communities. He alleged that the Congress party, instead of supporting these initiatives, has engaged in creating hurdles and spreading misinformation.
The Chief Minister asserted that Uttarakhand has benefitted significantly from the Centre’s policies, including investments in road connectivity, tourism, and disaster management. He reiterated that the state government remains committed to aligning with the national vision of development and ensuring that people reap the benefits of reforms.
Dhami’s remarks reflect the ongoing political exchanges between the ruling NDA and the opposition Congress, highlighting the sharp divide over governance and development strategies in India.
