Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday said that dharm represents truth and righteousness, and practicing it with a sense of responsibility contributes to maintaining peace in society.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Dharm Jagran Nyas office in Nagpur, Bhagwat emphasized that staying committed to dharm instills courage and determination, especially during challenging times.

“If your faith in dharm is strong, you will never lose your resolve. Everyone has seen the film ‘Chhaava,’ based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Many, including ordinary individuals, have laid down their lives to uphold dharm,” he said.

Bhagwat stressed that society has a collective responsibility to ensure people stay on the path of dharm.

“The world today needs dharm that embraces and manages diversity, as Hinduism does. Dharm teaches apnapan — a sense of belonging — and promotes acceptance of differences. Though we may appear diverse, at our core, we are one and the same,” he added.
