RAMBAN: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Banihal organized a tour to Government Polytechnic Ramban (Chanderkote) for the faculty of Elementary Schools from Zone Batote, Gool, and Ramban.
The tour aimed to familiarize the faculty with the skill and vocational courses being offered in the Skill Education Department, as well as the facilities available and the scope for the students after availing the skill education. The event also focused on the implementation of the NEP curriculum at the elementary level.
A team of 40 faculty members, accompanied by Coordinator Irfan Ahmed, Resource Person Jawaz Ahmed, and Secretary Lal Singh, were welcomed by HOD Electronics & Communication Engineering, Er Pawan Kumar and I/C Electrical Department Er Aabid Hussain in the institution.
Er. Aabid Hussain emphasized the impact and need of skill education in today’s scenario, highlighting the government’s policies in elementary education. Er. Pawan Kumar provided insights into the facilities available at the college, including Computer Center, Electrical Machine Lab, Electronics Lab, Smart Classrooms, Library and Conference Hall.
Mr. Jawaz Ahmed expressed gratitude to the principal and staff of the institution. The event was conducted under the overall supervision of Principal Er. Vivek Mahajan.
