Rajouri, Nov 19: District Police Rajouri organized the Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament at DPL Ground Rajouri, dedicated to honouring the brave martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir Police who made supreme sacrifices in the line of duty.
The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Amarjeet Singh Bhatia, Principal GMC & Hospital Rajouri along with Sh. Gaurav Sikarwar IPS, SSP Rajouri Sh. Nasir Ahmed JKPS, Commandant IRP 2nd Battalion and other officers from the Civil and Police Administration were present on the occasion. Prominent senior citizens, cricketers, civil society members and a large number of enthusiastic youth also graced the event.
The opening match was played between HCC Manjakote and Kalim Cricket Club showcasing a thrilling contest and garnering strong support from local cricket lovers.
A total of 16 teams from various parts of Rajouri are participated.
