Div Com Jammu reviews progress of ongoing projects at Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex
JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of various ongoing projects at the historic Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex.
The meeting was attended by the Commissioner JMC, Executive Director Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society, Director Archives, SSP Jammu, Chief Engineer PW(R&B) Jammu, SE PWD, and representatives from NHLML and JK Cable Car Corporation Ltd.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner took stock of key projects including the Multilevel Parking Facility at the complex and the vertical lift from Peerkho to Mubarak Mandi. He directed the concerned authorities to expedite the tendering process for the proposed flyover bridge connecting Circular Road near Jullaka Mohalla to the Heritage Complex.
The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the conservation and restoration works of Darbar Hall, Dogra Art Museum, Raja Ram Singh Palace, Raja Amar Singh Palace, Central Courtyard, and other heritage structures within the complex.
Emphasizing timely completion, Ramesh Kumar called for close coordination among all departments and executing agencies to ensure quality and progress in line with project timelines.
