NEW DELHI: Realty giant DLF Ltd has reported that its sales bookings more than doubled to ₹15,757 crore during the first half of the current fiscal year, driven by strong demand for its luxury housing projects in Gurugram and Mumbai.

According to the company’s latest investor presentation, pre-sales stood at ₹15,757 crore during April–September 2024–25, compared to ₹7,094 crore in the same period last year. In the previous financial year (2023–24), DLF had achieved record sales bookings of ₹21,223 crore, and the company has guided for ₹20,000–22,000 crore in sales bookings for the ongoing fiscal year.

On Thursday, DLF reported a 15% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹1,180.09 crore for the July–September quarter, down from ₹1,381.22 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell to ₹1,643.04 crore, compared to ₹1,975.02 crore a year earlier. However, total income rose slightly to ₹2,261.80 crore from ₹2,180.83 crore, supported by higher other income.

DLF said new sales bookings for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹4,332 crore, driven by the successful launch of its debut Mumbai project, The Westpark, and continued robust demand in the super-luxury housing segment. In the corresponding quarter last year, sales bookings were just ₹692 crore.

The company noted that India’s housing market remains strong, supported by a resilient economy, rising aspirations for home ownership, and increasing preference for branded, credible developers.

“We continue to leverage our high-quality land bank and calibrate our new launches to sustain this strong momentum, in line with our growth guidance,” DLF stated.

DLF has developed over 185 real estate projects, covering more than 352 million sq ft, and holds 280 million sq ft of development potential across residential and commercial segments. The company’s operations span development and sale of residential properties as well as leasing of commercial and retail assets.
