RAJOURI: District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, approved 175 cases under various Mission Youth schemes at a meeting held here today.
The approved cases include 154 under the Mumkin scheme, 13 under Tejaswini, and 8 under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI)
Assistant Director Employment, Pradyot Gupta, briefed about the initiatives to empower the youth of the district by providing financial and infrastructural support for self-employment and entrepreneurship.
The Mission Youth schemes have been instrumental in uplifting young entrepreneurs, including unemployed male and female youth, by providing necessary financial assistance, skill training, and mentorship.
District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) members included Fareed Kohli, General Manager DIC, Ashiq Rafiq Malik, DIO, Rajesh Gupta, ARTO, Sanjeev Bhasin LDM and Arshad Malik, DNO-JKEDI.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the administration for their support and pledged to make benefit from most of the opportunities provided to them.
