DLSA, GDC Shopian Observe National Education Day
SHOPIAN: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian, in collaboration with Government Degree College (GDC) Shopian, observed National Education Day at the college’s Auditorium Hall today.
Chairman DLSA Shopian and Principal District & Sessions Judge, Mehmood Ahmad Chowdary, attended the event as the chief guest and shared his views on the transformative power of education in strengthening institutions. He appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty, which contributed to the event’s success.
Secretary DLSA Shopian, Mudasir Farooq, highlighted the role of education in fostering national integration and unity. He emphasized that true national harmony is achieved when people rise above divisions and work collectively for peace, progress, and shared prosperity.
Chief LADC Shopian also spoke on the occasion, underlining the importance of fundamental rights as the foundation of Indian democracy and their crucial role in upholding equality, justice, and liberty for all citizens.
The programme was attended by LADCs, Assistant LADCs, faculty members of GDC Shopian, DLSA staff, PLVs, and students.
