JAMMU: In view of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) examinations scheduled on October 7 and 8, 2025, for the recruitment of Assistant Professors, the District Magistrate Jammu has announced restrictions around the designated exam centers in the district.
“In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), I, Dr. Rakesh Minhas (IAS), District Magistrate Jammu, hereby impose restrictions on the assembly of five or more persons within a 100-meter radius of the notified examination centers. Entry will be strictly prohibited from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on October 7 and 8, 2025, except for authorized personnel.
Any violation of this order will be punishable under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).”
