NOWSHERA: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today laid the foundation stones for three key bridge projects, aimed at enhancing road connectivity in the Nowshera region.
He inaugurated the construction of a 50-meter motorable bridge with a footpath over Androoth Nallah at Village Androoth under NABARD, with an estimated cost of Rs. 292 lakh. Additionally, he laid the foundation for a 28-meter motorable bridge with approaches at Rattan Galla Kalsian, estimated at Rs. 284 lakh. Another significant project includes a 50-meter motorable bridge with footpath over Androoth Nallah at Village Androoth, with a projected cost of Rs. 400 lakh.
During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister also held a Public Darbar at Kalsian, engaging with residents and addressing their grievances on the spot. Locals expressed their gratitude for the approval and initiation of these crucial bridges, highlighting the positive impact on connectivity and transportation in the area.
The Deputy CM was accompanied by SE Tilak Raj, Executive Engineer PWD Nowshera Sarwar Mehmood, and other district and sectoral officers during the visit.
